كتاب حماية الأحداث في قانون الإجراءات الجزائية الجزائرية يتضمن دراية أكاديمية لجميع مراحل الخصومة الجنائية من ضبطية واتهام وتحقيق ومحاكمة في ميدان الأحداث المنحرفين والأحداث المعرضين لخطر معنوى. وانصبت الدراسة على البحث فيما إذا كانت النصوص الجنائية الإجرائية الجزائرية الحانبة كافية لحماية الحدث المنحرف والحدث المعرض لخطر الانحراف، وإذا كانت النصوص كافية هل يستعمل الحدث حقوقه أو لا يستعملها، وكيف تتعامل الهيئات المختصة مع الأحداث عند انعدام النص القانوني الخاص، وهل حقوق الإنسان للحدث محترمة وفق ما تقضيه السياسة الجنائية وإتفاقية حقوق الطفل، وقد تم التركيز على التشريع الجزائرى أساساً مع التعرض لما جاء فى المواثيق والاتفاقيات الدولية والتشريعين المصرى والفرنسى، كما تضمن البحث مجمعة من الاقتراحات في مختلف مراحل الخصومة الجنائية، والتي قدرت المؤلفة أنه على المشرع تذكرها عند سن قانون الطفل الجزائرى.
