يتضمن هذا الكتاب ست فصول: الفصل الأول: خصص هذا الفصل لعرض بعض المبادئ الجبرية التي تحتاج لها في الكتاب في الفصول اللاحقة مثل: المجموعات - الأعداد - الفترات - المعادلات.
والفصل الثاني: خصص هذا الفصل لإعطاء بعض أساسيات الهندسة التحليلية حيث أن هذه المفاهيم تعتبر مهمة جداً لمواضيع كثيرة في التفاضل والتكامل وذلك من خلال دراسة: الخطوط المستقيمة - الدائرة - القطع المكافئ - القطع الناقص - القطع الزائد.
أما الفصل الثالث: خصص هذا الفصل لدراسة الدوال وذلك من خلال دراسة: تعريف الدالة - النطاق والنطاق المصاحب - الأنواع المختلفة للدوال مثل: الدالة الثابتة - الدالة المحايدة - دالة كثيرة الحدود - الدالة الكسرية، والفصل الرابع: وخصص هذا الفصل لدراسة نهاية الدالة وإزالة بعض أشكال عدم التعيين بالإضافة للنظريات الأساسية في حساب النهايات ثم دراسة إتصال الدالة.
الفصل الخامس: ويتناول هذا الفصل دراسة المشتقات بإستخدام التعريف - القواعد الأساسية للمشتقات - مشتقة الدوال المثلثية - مشتقة الدوال المثلثية العسكية - مشتقة الدوال الآسية.
الفصل السادس: ويتناول هذا الفصل تطبيقات التفاضل في المجالات المختلفة مثل: حساب معادلنا المماس والعمودي - حساب معدل التغير الحقيقي والتقريبي للدوال - حساب مفكوك تايلور ومفكوك ماكلورين ثم إستخدامه في حساب بعض النهايات.
