السحر مركب من تأثيرات الأرواح الخبيثة وانفعالاتها على أرواح وأجساد المبتلين بها من الإنس خدمة للشيطان وأتباعه من الجن ومن يتفق معهم من الإنس (الساحر) على القيام بفعل الشرك والمحرمات مقابل مساعدة الشيطان له في ما يطلب. ومنه ما يمرض وما يفرق وما يخيل.. وما يُجن وما يعقد وما يغضب، ويلجأ الكثيرون إلى السحر تحت تأثير الغفلة ونتيجة لوقوعهم تحت تأثير الشيطان الذي يسول لهم أموراً تخالف أوامر الله تعالى. لذا فهو يحتل مساحة واسعة من أنفسهم وأرواحهم وأجسادهم ولا خلاص لهم إلا باستخدام أسلوب العلاج بالقرآن الكريم الذي يذكره المؤلف في تفاصيل البحث في هذا الكتاب.
ولن يقف المؤلف موقف الواصف والمحذر من الشيطان ومن أحاييله وأساليبه ومكره، بل هو يقف موقف المعالج من خلال اعتماده في بيان أسلوب العلاج الذي ارتآه على القرآن وعلى أحاديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم والأئمة الأطهار عليهم السلام وعلى رأسهم الإمام علي رضي الله عنه والإمام زين العابدين في صحيفته السجادية.
