وأما في الحديث: فقد كان المستشرقون أول من نفض عنها غبار الإهمال وكآبة الانزواء، فإذا باللامية تملأ عليهم نفوسهم إعجابًا وإكبارًا، وإذا حديثهم عنها مفعم بهذا الإعجاب والإكبار، وإذا هم يحرصون على أن ينقوها بلغاتهم إلي مواطنهم ليمتعوا شعوبهم بهذا الأدب الرفيع، وليضيفوا إلى أدبهم ثروة تساهم في البناء والنماء الأدبي. وعندئذ أخذ الدارسون العرب في العصر الحديث يلتفون إلي هذه الكنوز الأدبية ويولونها شيئًا من اهتمام، ولكن اللامية بالذات لم تحظ بما ينبغي أن تحظى به، وأيسر ذلك أن تنقل إلى الشباب وطلاب الثقافة في صورة ميسرة بالشرح والتوضيح حتى يتاح لهم أن يستمتعوا بما تنطوي عليه من جمال أدبي، ومن عمق فني يملأ على المتذوق روحه ووجدانه.
