يعد هذا الكتاب ثمرة علمية للمائدة المستديرة التي نظمها مركز الدراسات والبحوث في القضايا النسائية في الإسلام بشراكة مع "حركة مساواة" الدولية، وبمشاركة أسماء بارزة من المغرب وخارجه.
وقد جاءت أوراق المشاركين لتجيب عن مجموعة من التساؤلات وتبحث في إعادة صياغة مجموعة من المفاهيم مثل: "القوامة والولاية" ضمن مفهوم "المساواة بين الرجال والنساء" المنصوص عليها، وذلك لتعزيز تفسير جديد يعد هذا الكتاب ثمرة علمية للمائدة المستديرة التي نظمها مركز الدراسات والبحوث في القضايا النسائية في الإسلام بشراكة مع "حركة مساواة" الدولية، وبمشاركة أسماء بارزة من المغرب وخارجه.
وقد جاءت أوراق المشاركين لتجيب عن مجموعة من التساؤلات وتبحث في إعادة صياغة مجموعة من المفاهيم مثل: "القوامة والولاية" ضمن مفهوم "المساواة بين الرجال والنساء" المنصوص عليها، وذلك لتعزيز تفسير جديد للقوامة والولاية يكون منفتحا ومرتبطا بالسياق ومعتمدا على القراءة المقاصدية، على وجه الخصوص، وكذا لإحراز تقدم ملموس في مجال "المساواة بين الرجال والنساء" بترجيح كفة الاجتهاد التي اعتمدتها مدونة الأسرة، وذلك في ضوء المستجدات والمعطيات التي تشكل مرحلة أساسية وتاريخية سواء على المستوى الوطني أو الدولي، والتي تظهر من خلال جهود المغرب في السنوات الأخيرة في وضع ترسانة قانونية واجتماعية مهمة تتعلق بحقوق النساء وتحريرهن والمساواة بين الرجال والنساء، والمتمثلة في مدونة الأسرة التي تعد ثورة حقيقية على المستوى التشريعي والاجتماعي، وكذا دستور 2011 الذي جاء ليعزز مفهوم الديمقراطية
