لقد فتح رمسيس يونان أبواب الإجتهاد بالرمز وهو مؤسس السيريالية فى مصر ومن بعد ذلك التجريد. وهو من مقدمى ثقافة الغرب الطليعية حيث ترجم "كاليجولا" لألبير كامو و "الجحيم" لرامبو. وقدم الكثير كمحلل وناقد للفن وداع للفن الأوروبى الجديث
