يحتوي الديوان على قصائد طويلة وأخرى قصيرة، مكتوبة بأربعة أشكال شعرية كما فرضتها الحالة الشعرية ولحظتها التوليدية بعيدا عن الفذلكة، وأدعي أنها انبثقت ضمن سياقها الفني الشعري الخاص. أرجو منكم قراءتها، وأتمنى لها أن تستعيد وهج الشعر الذي انطفأ داخل الكثيرين. هناك نجارون وحدادون وصائغون ووو وشعراء، رغم عملي الأكاديمي والنقدي والترجمي وكتابة القصة، لكنني لا أعرف غير الشعر رفقةً يحتوي الديوان على قصائد طويلة وأخرى قصيرة، مكتوبة بأربعة أشكال شعرية كما فرضتها الحالة الشعرية ولحظتها التوليدية بعيدا عن الفذلكة، وأدعي أنها انبثقت ضمن سياقها الفني الشعري الخاص. أرجو منكم قراءتها، وأتمنى لها أن تستعيد وهج الشعر الذي انطفأ داخل الكثيرين. هناك نجارون وحدادون وصائغون ووو وشعراء، رغم عملي الأكاديمي والنقدي والترجمي وكتابة القصة، لكنني لا أعرف غير الشعر رفقةً مصيرية. أرجو أن تسامحوني على هذا التصعيد الأهوج في زمن العصر الآلي.
الانتماء إلى اللامكان يستدعي المقاومة في مكان لا همّ له إلا الإفلات من قبضة شتى أنواع التسلّط الخفيّة والظاهرة للانضواء في النيّرة. "كلُّ شيء تتوق إليه ملتبس" (الطريق الملكي).
من قرية قريبة من محافظة بابل من جهة الجنول الغربي، مرورا بالنجف، فبغداد فكركوك أو عبر مختبر المنفى الشائك: تيزي-أُزو، وارسو، إنديانا، بيرمنغهام... تظلُّ الأمكنة منذرةً بإعادة النظر لخلق ما لا تطاله حدود.
لكنْ إذا كان محيط الأمكنة ينحو باستمرار إلى الكشف عن بطاقة الهوية، والمقام، والنسب، والمِلّة؛ فإنّ حسابات الشاعر تُرابط في أمكنةٍ لا وجهَ لها ولا عُرفَ ولا مكان لها إلا ما تفعله اللغةُ وما تؤجّجه صورُ الألفاظ ودروبُ المعاني. وفعلُ اللغة في شعرية هاتف جنابي هو انتباهه إلى أنّ تتداخل في طياتها ذاكرةُ التاريخ الراقدة، ذاكرةٌ تُسافر بنا عبرَ كل ما احتوته اللغةُ العربية من آشوري، وآراميّ، وسوريانيّ وكرديّ، وتركمانيّ، كأصوات متآلفة فيما بينها، متعددة كتعدد منابع حضارة ما أبعدَها اليومَ من التمكّن من الالتقاء بالكون.
