ما هو الدين الذي أنزله الله على نبيه صلى الله عليه و سلم في القرآن الكريم ؟ و ما هو المنهج الذي اتبعه هذا الدين في الدعوة إلى الإيمان به؟
يرى المؤلف أن منهج القرآن في دعوة الإنسان إلى معرفة الله و الإيمان به عز و جل يكمن في التوجه إلى القوى الكامنة في هذا المخلوق من فطرية و روحية و معرفية و إرادية ، بمعزل عن الجماعة التي يعيش فيها ، ليدرك الإنسان حقيقة نفسه و الكون الذي يعي ما هو الدين الذي أنزله الله على نبيه صلى الله عليه و سلم في القرآن الكريم ؟ و ما هو المنهج الذي اتبعه هذا الدين في الدعوة إلى الإيمان به؟
يرى المؤلف أن منهج القرآن في دعوة الإنسان إلى معرفة الله و الإيمان به عز و جل يكمن في التوجه إلى القوى الكامنة في هذا المخلوق من فطرية و روحية و معرفية و إرادية ، بمعزل عن الجماعة التي يعيش فيها ، ليدرك الإنسان حقيقة نفسه و الكون الذي يعيش فيه .
و يرى المؤلف أن كل علم جديد يكشف عن حقيقة من آيات الله في الكون ، أو في أي شيء فيه ، و يكشف عن سنن الله تعالى في السماوات و الأرض ، و بذلك تتعمق معرفتنا بالإسلام ، و تفرض تسخيره في تغيير واقعنا إلى ما تتحقق به مقاصد هذا الدين الذي جاء لمصلحة الإنسان .
و قد اعتمد المؤلف في منهجه لتبيان " ما هو الإسلام " على منهج القرآن الكريم في نظرته إلى الإنسان ، و إلى التوحيد ، و إلى العلم . و خلص إلى أن خصائص الإسلام بأصوله الثابتة و بنظرته إلى العلم ، تجعله صالحاً لكل زمان و مكان ، و فيه حل مشاكل الإنسانية التي تتخبط فيها نتيجة الابتعاد عن الله .
