غلامحسین ابراهیمی دینانی که او را با عناوین حکیم، دکتر و استاد میشناسیم متولد ۵ دیماه ۱۳۱۳ شهرستان دینان از توابع اصفهان است.
دینانی یکی از فیلسوفان معاصر ایرانی است که عمدهٔ شهرتش به دلیل تحقیق در حکمت شیخ اشراق و احیای آن است. وی با بررسی تمامی آثار و نوشتههای شیخ شهاب الدین سهروردی تا کنون چندین کتاب مهم در رابطه با فلسفه و افکار این فیلسوف ایرانی نگاشتهاست. هم اکنون استاد بازنشسته گروه فلسف غلامحسین ابراهیمی دینانی که او را با عناوین حکیم، دکتر و استاد میشناسیم متولد ۵ دیماه ۱۳۱۳ شهرستان دینان از توابع اصفهان است.
دینانی یکی از فیلسوفان معاصر ایرانی است که عمدهٔ شهرتش به دلیل تحقیق در حکمت شیخ اشراق و احیای آن است. وی با بررسی تمامی آثار و نوشتههای شیخ شهاب الدین سهروردی تا کنون چندین کتاب مهم در رابطه با فلسفه و افکار این فیلسوف ایرانی نگاشتهاست. هم اکنون استاد بازنشسته گروه فلسفه دانشکده ادبیات و علوم انسانی دانشگاه تهران است. او در سال ۱۳۸۴ با کتاب دفتر عقل و آیت عشق، ۱۳۸۵ با کتاب درخشش ابن رشد در حکمت مشاء و ۱۳۸۹ با کتاب فلسفه و ساحت سخن برنده جایزه کتاب سال شد.
او نزد اساتیدی همچون آیات عظام اراکی، بروجردی، علامه محمد حسین طباطبایی، امام خمینی (ره) و آقا میرزا مسلم ملکوتی دروس حوزوی و فقه را گذرانده و همچنین دکترای فلسفه را از دانشگاه تهران اخذ کرده است.
استاد دینانی سمتها و کتب با ارزش و زیادی در کارنامهٔ خود ثبت کرده است. و در میان اهل فکر جایگاه بسیار رفیعی را دارا میباشد.
