كاتب وصحفي تونسي من مواليد 2 نوفمبر 1955 بقرية الواعرة الحرشان من ولاية سيدي بوزيد. درس الابتدائي والثانوي بسيدي علي بن عون وقفصة والعالي بتونس.صحفي محترف منذ سنة 1981 عمل بمؤسسات اعلامية رسميةمثل الاذاعة والتلفزة التونسية ووكالة تونس افريقيا للانباء كما عمل مراسلا لعدة صحف عربية مثل العربي وعالم الفن والفيصل التي كتب بها عديد الاستطلاعات.اسس مجلتي مرآة الوسط وبراعم الوسط والثقافية التونسية والزمن التونسي.اصدر 23 كتابا في اغراض مختلفة يكتب الرواية وله فيها اربع روايات حدث في تلك الليلة وولد الموجيره والطريق الى الحرية ومرايا الروح.من كتبه المشهورة

حظي بتكريم رسمي من قبل ذاعة البي بي سي وعديد المنظمات والجمعيات التونسية والدولية وهو حامل للدكتوراه الفخرية في الاداب والعلوم الانسانية من عدة منظمات وجمعيات دولية
