"دليل العاشقات" بطبعته الثانية دليل شعري مهما حاولنا أن نحيله إلى غير ما هو عليه، ومع أن السالم في مقدمته الطويلة حاول أن يجد له تسمية ذكية وهي (الجملة الشعرية) إلا ان هذه الجملة ذات محمول دال على شعرية النصوص وانتمائها الى الشعر صورة وخيالًا وأداءً.
"دليل العاشقات" هو ما رواه حفّار القلوب، وهو العاشق الذي يطوي الصور الرومانسية في لحظة ويفتحها في كل لحظة في جملة الومضة البرقية الدالة الصادمة السريعة في صلتها مع الخيال والواقع وفي دقة متناهية من التعبير الجميل.
