يحكي الجزء الثالث عن رحلة بحث "جن" ووالدته وأخته الصغيرة عن مكان للراحة في أعقاب القنبلة. وفي مواجهة الجوع والرفض الإذلال ، يدركون انهم مازالوا يملكون ويمكنهم مشاركة ممتلكاتهم الحقيقية: أحترامهم لذاتهم وأملهم وقوتهم الداخلية.
"أريد أن أقتل جميع الأغنياء وقادة الحرب الذين لم يفكروا إلا في مصالحهم الشخصية ...اه، في الواقع لا توجد حماقة أكبر من حماقة إشعال حرب ، لقد تعذبنا بسب يحكي الجزء الثالث عن رحلة بحث "جن" ووالدته وأخته الصغيرة عن مكان للراحة في أعقاب القنبلة. وفي مواجهة الجوع والرفض الإذلال ، يدركون انهم مازالوا يملكون ويمكنهم مشاركة ممتلكاتهم الحقيقية: أحترامهم لذاتهم وأملهم وقوتهم الداخلية.

يقضى "جن" في الجزء الثالث الكثير من الوقت بحثا عن الطعام ويعتني برجل يعاني من مرض "القنبلة" ويتعرض للتهديد والإساءة من قبل عائلته. قرب نهاية هذا الجزء يعلن الإمبراطور عن استسلامه في 15 أغسطس 1945. يتم بث الخطاب عبر الراديو ويراقب الأطفال البالغينفي حزنهم أو غضبهم.
