كان العمال يستسلمون للأمن ولسان حالهم جميعًا الدعاء الشهير (حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل). بينما الأمن في غمرة نشوتهم بالاستسلام يستغلون الموقف أسوأ استغلال. فيجبرون العامل المستسلم على الاعتراف بأسماء زملائه وقادته في الإضراب قبل الإفراج عن أهله، حتى كتابة هذه السطور قبض على قرابة الألف عامل!! أحمد الله عز وجل على وجودكما خارج المحلة في تلك الفترة المظلمة حتى لا يستغلونكما للضغط علي كما فعلوا مع زملائي، أعلم أن دوري في الاعتقال آتي لا محالة، ولا أشعر بالخوف ولن أحاول الهروب أو الاختباء لأني مقتنع بما فعلت، لذا أكتب لك هذا الخطاب لمن سيتولى الدفاع عني حتى يفهم ويشعر بما حدث، كما أنصحك بأن تحاول إيصاله إلى أحد الصحفيين أو الكتاب حتى ينشره ويعلم الجميع حقيقة ما حدث في المحلة يومي 6 و7 أبريل.
