يعد علم النحو من أهم علوم العربية مجتمعة إذ به يستقيم اللسان، ويتضح الكلام، فاللحن – أو الخطأ – في اللغة قد يؤدي بنا إلى كارثة في الفهم قد تودي بنا إلى الهاوية، فمثلاً إذا أخطأت في قراءة قوله تعالى في فاتحة الكتاب {صراط الذين أنعمت عليهم} فضمت تاء الفعل (أنعمت) بدلاً من فتحها فقد جعلت نفسي – حاشا الله – أنا المنعم! لذا كان لزامًا علينا أن نعرف أصول هذا العلم الرصين الذي حر يعد علم النحو من أهم علوم العربية مجتمعة إذ به يستقيم اللسان، ويتضح الكلام، فاللحن – أو الخطأ – في اللغة قد يؤدي بنا إلى كارثة في الفهم قد تودي بنا إلى الهاوية، فمثلاً إذا أخطأت في قراءة قوله تعالى في فاتحة الكتاب {صراط الذين أنعمت عليهم} فضمت تاء الفعل (أنعمت) بدلاً من فتحها فقد جعلت نفسي – حاشا الله – أنا المنعم! لذا كان لزامًا علينا أن نعرف أصول هذا العلم الرصين الذي حرص كثير من علماء اللغة على دراسته وتوضيحه نظرًا لأهميته البالغة.
ولعلم النحو أبواب وفروع بعد دراستها يكون القارئ قد وصل – إلى حد كبير – إلى لسان عربي مبين كما قال تعالى في سورة النحل: {وهذا لسان عربي مبين}.
