في ظل ما تمّر به الأمّة العربية من عواصف جيو-سياسية ذات تأثير بعيد المدى، كان لزاماً علينا النظر بعين فاحصة في تجارب التاريخ البشري المتقاطعة في بعض الجوانب لنخلص لدروس تفيد القارئ العربي الطامح لمستقبل أفضل. وفي ظل الثورات العربية والأزمات التي رافقتها و أتي هذه المادة عن الثورة الفرنسية باكورة لسلسلة من التقارير والبحوث عن أبرز الثوارت والأحداث التي أثرت على مجرى التاريخ.
في ظل ما تمّر به الأمّة العربية من عواصف جيو-سياسية ذات تأثير بعيد المدى، كان لزاماً علينا النظر بعين فاحصة في تجارب التاريخ البشري المتقاطعة في بعض الجوانب لنخلص لدروس تفيد القارئ العربي الطامح لمستقبل أفضل. وفي ظل الثورات العربية والأزمات التي رافقتها وجب علينا أن ننظر في التجارب البشرية الثورية وأبرز محطاتها وحالة الفوضى الملازمة التي تبعتها، والثورة الفرنسية من أبرز وأهم الثورات المليئة بالعبر والدروس في هذا السياق.
فقد قامت الثورة الفرنسية الأولى عام 1789 مطالبة بحقوق عامّة الشعب لتتطور واتتخذت مناح عنيفة في مطالبتها. وقد عدها العديد من المؤرخين والخبراء من أبرز ثورات التاريخ الحديث لتأثيرها البالغ على البيئة السياسية الأوروبية والدولية ولتأثيرها على الفكر السياسي والعسكري وعلى مفهوم المواطنة والقومية. فتطورت من مطالبة بالحقوق في ظل ملكية دستورية إلى جمهورية دموية فحكومة تشاركية من دون رئيس إلى امبراطورية حكمت أوروبا وأثرت على سير السياسة الدولية.
وقد مرت الثورة الفرنسية بمراحل ومنعطافات راديكالية وأزمات داخلية وتدخلات خارجية هائلة، فقد انقلب ثوراها على بعض وأفنوا بعضهم البعض على نصل مقصلة غالوتين فاتحين الباب لقوى مضادة للثورة لتتدخل، عدا عن الثورات المضادة المتفرقة في أطراف البلاد وحالات الفلتان الأمني التي رسمت أبرز ملامح الحالة السياسية في تلك الفترة.
فكانت هذه التجربة الغنية والمليئة بالدروس فرصة للقارئ العربي الراغب في فهم واقعه في الإستئناس بسنن التاريخ وحركة السياسة الدولية مجملاً.
