كانت بطاقات الاتصال الدولي الممغنطة من أكثر الوسائل فعالية في تسهيل عملية اتصال الفرد بالعالم الخارجي. وقد كانت وزارة المواصلات في دولة الكويت تتعاقد مع العديد من شركات الاتصالات لاختيار العديد من الصور والرسوم التوضيحية المختلفة لوضعها على بطاقات الاتصال الدولي التي تصدر في دولة الكويت والتي تساعد على جذب أكبر عدد من المشتركين وفي نفس الوقت تبرز الجانب الحضاري لدولةالكويت كانت بطاقات الاتصال الدولي الممغنطة من أكثر الوسائل فعالية في تسهيل عملية اتصال الفرد بالعالم الخارجي. وقد كانت وزارة المواصلات في دولة الكويت تتعاقد مع العديد من شركات الاتصالات لاختيار العديد من الصور والرسوم التوضيحية المختلفة لوضعها على بطاقات الاتصال الدولي التي تصدر في دولة الكويت والتي تساعد على جذب أكبر عدد من المشتركين وفي نفس الوقت تبرز الجانب الحضاري لدولةالكويت.
ومن هنا نشأت هواية جمع البطاقات الممغنطة وأصبحت محط اهتمام العديد من الاشخاص داخل وخارج دولة الكويت، ومن خلال تبادل هذه البطاقات. مماحدى بوزارة المواصلات الى الاهتمام بهذه الهواية الجديدة من خلال توفير البطاقات اللازمة للمبادلة وإصدار الكتيبات الموضحة لمسيرة اصدار البطاقات خلال سنوات اصدارها.
