اختلق اليهود مزاعم عده لتبرير إقامة دولتهم في فلسطين، ومن تلك المزاعم الإدعاء بأن بقايا هيكل سليمان موجودة تحت المسجد الأقصى، ومنها الإدعاء بإن جزءا من الحائط الغربي للحرم القدسي الشريف هو آخر أثر من آثار هيكل سليمان، حيث يطلقون عليه (حائط المبكي) بدلًا من حائط البراق. وقد أراد المؤلف بهذه الدراسة مناقشة هذه القضية الهامة مناقشة موضوعية معتمدا علي المصادر العربية والعبرية والأجنبية مستندا إلي التحكيم الدولي الذي أصدر قراره في هذا الشأن بأنه للمسلمين وحدهم تعود ملكية الحائط الغربي للحرم القدسي الشريف، وبذلك يتأكد أن مزاعم اليهود في هذا الشأن لا تستند إلي أي أساس تاريخي أو قانوني أو ديني، وأن الحائط هو حائط البراق وليس حائط المبكي.
