بعد قرون طويلة من النضال قالت لنا الكتب ان عصور العبودية انتهت بلا رجعة، وبفضل هذا الانتصار أنعم التاريخ على رموز التحرر من العبودية بألقاب الأبطال من اسبارتاكوس الى ابراهام لينكولن، لكن كتاب عبودية الكراكيب يؤكد لنا أن العبودية لاتزال موجودة، وأن قطاعا كبيراً من البشر في أنحاء الأرض كافة لايزالون عبيدا . الكتاب الذي ألفته البريطانية كارين كينج ستون، وترجمته الى العربية مر بعد قرون طويلة من النضال قالت لنا الكتب ان عصور العبودية انتهت بلا رجعة، وبفضل هذا الانتصار أنعم التاريخ على رموز التحرر من العبودية بألقاب الأبطال من اسبارتاكوس الى ابراهام لينكولن، لكن كتاب عبودية الكراكيب يؤكد لنا أن العبودية لاتزال موجودة، وأن قطاعا كبيراً من البشر في أنحاء الأرض كافة لايزالون عبيدا . الكتاب الذي ألفته البريطانية كارين كينج ستون، وترجمته الى العربية مروة هاشم يناقش فكرة عبودية الانسان للكراكيب مع توضيح للعنوان بخط أصغر يقول بالنص: كيف تتخلص من الكراكيب، على طريقة «الفينج شوي» الصينية؟ و«الفينج شوي» حسب الكتاب، مصطلح تخلو منه القواميس الصينية، وليست هناك أبحاث أو رسائل تتناول تعريفه بطريقة علمية رغم أن طريقة «الفينج شوي» تدخل في تفاصيل كافة الحياة اليومية ويتم من خلالها تفسير كل الأحداث. لكن المؤلفة تحاول في الكتاب تلخيص " الفينج شوي " بأنه «فن التحكم في توازن وتناغم تدفق الطاقات الطبيعية فيما حولنا بهدف خلق مؤثرات فعالة في حياتنا»، وقد نشأت هذه الطريقة من معتقدات طبيعية تم تحريفها الى أساليب بدائية توارثت بشكل تقليدي بغرض تنظيم وترتيب العالم الانساني والاجتماعي بطريقة تتوافق مع الطاقة الكونية التي تؤثر في المكان والانسان.
