إن أعظم مصيبة أصابت المسلمين قاطبة هي مصيبة فقد رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ،وإن أعلم الناس بهول المصيبة -أي مصيبة-هم أولئك القوم الذين نزلت بهم فنالت منهم ،وكان الصحابة أول من ابتُلي بموت رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ،وأول من رثاه.
قال أنس بن مالك :لمّا كان اليوم الذي قدم فيه رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم المدينة أضاء منها كل شئ ،فلمّا كان اليوم الذي مات فيه؛أظلم منها كل ش إن أعظم مصيبة أصابت المسلمين قاطبة هي مصيبة فقد رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ،وإن أعلم الناس بهول المصيبة -أي مصيبة-هم أولئك القوم الذين نزلت بهم فنالت منهم ،وكان الصحابة أول من ابتُلي بموت رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم ،وأول من رثاه.
