تعد ملكة الذائقة الإبداعية وتوليد اللغة عند الأطفال من أهم القضايا التي انشغل التربويون وعلماء النفس بتفسيرها، ومحاولة إدراك كيفية نشوئها وتطورها؛ من أجل تهذيبها والعمل على تنميتها عند الطفل، وقد برزت العديد من الدراسات والأطروحات في السنين الأخيرة لتفسير كيفية اكتساب الأطفال قواعد لغتهم الأم، وتحليل طريقة فهم واستيعاب المفردات اللغوية وتوليدها في عقل الطفل، وأغلب هذه الدراسات دراسات غربية تستقي نظرياتها من أسس وقواعد غير منهجية، ومرجعيات غير سوية، وافتقد الحقل التربوي العربي لهذا النوع من الدراسات الأكاديمية، وندر من يكتب فيه؛ اللهم إلا مهتديًا بنهج سابقيه ومتبعًا طريقتهم دون بذله أدنى محاولة في إسقاط نتائج دراسته على واقع مجتمعه، ومحاولة تطبيقها عمليًا وحياتيًا؛ لذا فوجود دراسة عربية أكاديمية تتلافى أغلب عيوب هذه النظريات التربوية الغربية، وتحاول تطبيق أهم أسس وقواعد نظريات اكتساب اللغة على واقع معيشة الطفل العربي لهو أمر جدير بالملاحظة والاعتبار.
