«كُمُستير» لعبة شعبية يمارسها الأطفال، حيث يغمض فيها أحدهم عينيه بينما يتيح للبقية الاختباء في محيطه.
ثم يفتح عينيه ويبدأ البحث عنهم، فإذا عرف موقع أحدهم، لمسه بكفّه وهو يقول: «كمستير».ثم يكون على الطفل«المقبوض عليه» إغماض عينيه لتبدأ اللعبة من جديد.
يعيد العقيلي في مجموعته التي جاءت في 172 صفحة من القطع المتوسط، رسم أحداث مفترضة تروم إلى الجمع بين إمتاع التلقي وتحريض الفكر، «كُمُستير» لعبة شعبية يمارسها الأطفال، حيث يغمض فيها أحدهم عينيه بينما يتيح للبقية الاختباء في محيطه.

يعيد العقيلي في مجموعته التي جاءت في 172 صفحة من القطع المتوسط، رسم أحداث مفترضة تروم إلى الجمع بين إمتاع التلقي وتحريض الفكر، موائماً بين سلاسة السرد وحيويته، وقوة اللغة وحضورها، وجماليات الحدث ومفارقاته، حيث تقود الأحداث البسيطة والمقدمات التي تبدو للوهلة الأولى عادية ومنطقية، إلى نهايات غير متوقَّعة.
