تتوزع مجموع الغنائيات 154، على ثلاثة أبواب، الأول من الغنائية 1 - 17، وفيها يحث الشاعر صديقه العزيز على الزواج لكي ينجب ولداً يديم للعالم جمال الوالد ومحاسنه الخُلقية. والباب الثاني يشمل الغنائيات 18 - 126، وهي غنائيات عن الحب وجمال المحبوب. والباب الثالث يشمل الغنائيات 127-152، وتتحدث عن الخليلة السمراء، التي ينعتها أحياناً بالسواد في الخِلقة والخُلق، الأمر الذي يجد فيه ب تتوزع مجموع الغنائيات 154، على ثلاثة أبواب، الأول من الغنائية 1 - 17، وفيها يحث الشاعر صديقه العزيز على الزواج لكي ينجب ولداً يديم للعالم جمال الوالد ومحاسنه الخُلقية. والباب الثاني يشمل الغنائيات 18 - 126، وهي غنائيات عن الحب وجمال المحبوب. والباب الثالث يشمل الغنائيات 127-152، وتتحدث عن الخليلة السمراء، التي ينعتها أحياناً بالسواد في الخِلقة والخُلق، الأمر الذي يجد فيه بعض الباحثين تعبيراً عن كراهية شديدة للمرأة عموماً. ثم تتبع الغنائيتان 153 و154 وهما تستوحيان قصيدتين من الشعر الإغريقي، في مماهاة لحالة الحب الحقيقي.
