استعنت بالله تعالى على تخريج الأحاديث الواردة في التوسل والزيارة، وأردت أن أسلك فيه سبيل الإنصاف، وبعدت فيه عن الحاباة والتعصب والاعتساف، وتقيدت بقواعد الحديث الشريف، والغرض من هذا المصنف بعد بيان الصواب في نظري في الاحاديث، هو أن الخلاف في مسألة التوسل هو خلاف في الفروع، ومثله لا يصلح أن يشنع به أخ على أخيه أو يعيبه به، وأن من قال به - وهو التوسل بالأنبياء والأولياء - متم استعنت بالله تعالى على تخريج الأحاديث الواردة في التوسل والزيارة، وأردت أن أسلك فيه سبيل الإنصاف، وبعدت فيه عن الحاباة والتعصب والاعتساف، وتقيدت بقواعد الحديث الشريف، والغرض من هذا المصنف بعد بيان الصواب في نظري في الاحاديث، هو أن الخلاف في مسألة التوسل هو خلاف في الفروع، ومثله لا يصلح أن يشنع به أخ على أخيه أو يعيبه به، وأن من قال به - وهو التوسل بالأنبياء والأولياء - متمسك بأدلة ثابتة ثبوت الجبال الرواسي، وردها لا يجئ إلا من متعنت أو مكابر، فإن متعنت أو مكابر، فإن لم تقنع فاسكت وسلم ولا تشنع، فالخلاف في الفروع لا يحتمل هذا الإفراط، سلك الله بنا سواء السبيل، وأما المقصود في مسألة الزيارة فهو إثبات إطباق علماء الامة على استحباب أو وجوب زيارة المصطفى "صلى الله عليه وسلم" بشد رحل أو بدونه، وأن من قال بتحريم الزيارة المستوجبة لشد الرحل قد ابتدع وخالف النصوص الصريحة وإطباق فقهاء مذهبه فضلًا عن المذاهب الأخرى.
وقد سميت هذا المصنف "رفع المنارة لتخريج أحاديث التوسل والزيارة" أسأل الله تعالى أن يتقبله بقبول حسن، ويجعله في صحيفة حسناتي، وقد عقدت مقدمتين لهذا المصنف، الأولى: في الكلام على التوسل، الثانية: في الكلام عن الزيارة، ومهدت لهما بكلمة عن الصارم المنكي وشفاء السقام.
