صدر عن شركة "رياض الريس للكتب والنشر" – بيروت كتاب جديد للشاعر والاستاذ الجامعي شاكر لعيبي بعنوان "تصاوير الإمام علي – مراجعها ودلالاتها التشكيلية" جمع الباحث في الكتاب ما يزيد على الـ 50 صورة مختلفة (أربعة الوان) رسمت عبر عشرات القرون وفي بلدان مختلفة من العالم شرقه وغربه منها القليل المعروف ومنها النادر المجهول، بنى عليها دراساته مستشهداً بها وشارحاً خصائصها ومعلقاً عليه صدر عن شركة "رياض الريس للكتب والنشر" – بيروت كتاب جديد للشاعر والاستاذ الجامعي شاكر لعيبي بعنوان "تصاوير الإمام علي – مراجعها ودلالاتها التشكيلية" جمع الباحث في الكتاب ما يزيد على الـ 50 صورة مختلفة (أربعة الوان) رسمت عبر عشرات القرون وفي بلدان مختلفة من العالم شرقه وغربه منها القليل المعروف ومنها النادر المجهول، بنى عليها دراساته مستشهداً بها وشارحاً خصائصها ومعلقاً عليها. يقارب مؤلف "العمارة الذكورية" "والفن الإسلامي والمسيحية العربية" تصاوير الإمام علي من ثمانية موضوعات. بداية تعريف القارئ بالفنون التصويرية وميزاتها، ثم يجيب عن السؤال البديهي الذي يلفت قارئ هذا الكتاب المفترض: هل يمثل بورتريه علي الشائع ملامح وجهه وتقاسيمه الحقيقية؟ ثم يعقد دراسات مقارنة بين تصاوير الإمام علي والفن المسيحي، منتقلاً إلى التقاليد المشرقية وتلك المغربية في تمثيل الإمام علي مروراً بصور الأولياء مع الأسد ترحيلاً لصورة الإمام علي مع الأسد. وفي المقاربات الأخيرة يتناول شاكر لعيبي الرسامين الشعبيين لصور الإمام علي وخصائص تلك الصور بوصفها أيقونات منزلية.
