عبد الإله بلقزيز كاتب مغربي معاصر حاصل على شهادة دكتوراة الفلسفة من جامعة محمد الخامس بالرباط.
ويشغل منصب أمين عام المنتدى المغربي العربي في الرباط، وهو أيضاً مدير الدراسات في "مركز دراسات الوحدة العربية" في بيروت سابقاً.
نشر مئات المقالات في صحف عربية عدة منها: الخليج والحياة والسفير والنهار.
كما صدر له واحد وثلاثون كتاباً.هو حاليا أستاذ في كلية الاداب و العلوم الانسانية ابن مسيك أستاذ الفلسفة في كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية – جامعة الحسن الثاني – الدار البيضاء.
له مؤلفات عديدة، منها: - المسألة الوطنية الفلسطينية (1989) - زمن الانتفاضة (2000) - في الديمقراطية والمجتمع المدني (2000) - نهاية الداعية (2000) - الخطاب الإصلاحي في المغرب (1996) - الإسلام والسياسة (2001) - الدولة في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر (2002، 2004) - تكوين المجال السياسي الإسلامي (2005)

لا شك في أن فكرة القومية العربية تحتاج اليوم إلى إعادة نظر وفحص، وأن إعادة النظر هذه ينبغي أن تتسلح بروح نقدية حادة، دون أن ينطلق النقد ذاك من مقدمات فاسدة ومن أغاليط أيديولوجية، كالقول أن القومية العربية قضت ودفنت تحت أنقاض زلزال "النظام الدولي الجديد". ذلك أن العروبة ليست ايديولوجيا من ابتداع نخبة، بل هي ماهية اجتماعية وثقافية وحضارية من نسج تاريخ طاعن في القدم. نحاول في لا شك في أن فكرة القومية العربية تحتاج اليوم إلى إعادة نظر وفحص، وأن إعادة النظر هذه ينبغي أن تتسلح بروح نقدية حادة، دون أن ينطلق النقد ذاك من مقدمات فاسدة ومن أغاليط أيديولوجية، كالقول أن القومية العربية قضت ودفنت تحت أنقاض زلزال "النظام الدولي الجديد". ذلك أن العروبة ليست ايديولوجيا من ابتداع نخبة، بل هي ماهية اجتماعية وثقافية وحضارية من نسج تاريخ طاعن في القدم. نحاول في هذا الكتاب المساهمة في مشروع هذا النقد، ربما إلى حدود قد لا يقبلها أكثر القوميين العرب انفتاحاً. ولم نفعل ذلك لأي غرض آخر سوى خدمة قضية العروبة، وإعادة الاعتبار إلى مضمونها الثوري الذي ابتذلته تجربة الممارسة (الحزبية السلطوية) في الأربعين عاماً الأخيرة.
