تتناول هذه الدراسة بالتحليل والنقد كتاب "القراءة السريانية الآرامية للقرآن" للمستشرق الألماني كريستوف لكسنبرغ؛ الذي بذل فيه مساعيه -كما يدّعي- في تقديم رؤية حديثة في لغة القرآن الكريم وطريقة فهمها؛ فيتمحور الكتاب حول إثبات أن لغة القرآن الكريم ليست عربيةً محضةً، بل فيه مفردات من اللغة السريانية تسببت في صعوبة فهمه لدى المسلمين، إلى جانب الأخطاء ارتكبها الكتّاب، والتي أدّت تتناول هذه الدراسة بالتحليل والنقد كتاب "القراءة السريانية الآرامية للقرآن" للمستشرق الألماني كريستوف لكسنبرغ؛ الذي بذل فيه مساعيه -كما يدّعي- في تقديم رؤية حديثة في لغة القرآن الكريم وطريقة فهمها؛ فيتمحور الكتاب حول إثبات أن لغة القرآن الكريم ليست عربيةً محضةً، بل فيه مفردات من اللغة السريانية تسببت في صعوبة فهمه لدى المسلمين، إلى جانب الأخطاء ارتكبها الكتّاب، والتي أدّت إلى عدم التماسك والاتساق في نصوصه الشريفة. ورأيه هذا ناجمٌ عن الاعتقاد بأصل سرياني للقرآن، وهو رأي لا يخلو من التعسف والتسرع، وفيه تغاضٍ عن حقائق جمة؛ فإن بيانات علم الآثار وتصريحات علماء الساميات تعارضُ التاريخ الذي صنعه لكسنبرغ لمكة وأهلها. وكذلك التراث الروائي الإسلامي والشعر والأدب الجاهلي زاخرة بالشواهد المتعددة التي ترفض دعاويه بشأن مفردات القرآن. هذا مضافا إلى استخدامه الخاطئ للمنهج الفيلولوجي الذي وظّفه بشكل منحاز في إثبات نظريته، فضلا عن السياق القرآني الذي لا يتناسب مع ما ادّعاه. ولقد تلقى ذلك الكتاب ردودُ فعل كثيرة من قبَل المسلمين والمستشرقين تأييدا ومعارضةً لهذه الرؤية إلى القرآن.
