على عكس العادة التي تقتضي بتحويل الروايات إلى أعمال فنية بعد نجاحها، تمَّ مؤخرًا تحويل مسلسل "كلبش" إلى رواية تتحدَّث عن مجموعة من الوقائع التي عاشها المصريون قبل أربعة أعوام عن طريق بداية مشوّقة تتمثَّل باقتحام خلية إرهابية لإحدى الحارات الشعبية وقتل أهلها ! تبدأ الأحداث بعد ذلك بالتفرّع في دوائر صغيرة وأخرى كبيرة إلّا أنّها جميعها تصبَّ داخل المجتمع المصري وما يعانيه أفر على عكس العادة التي تقتضي بتحويل الروايات إلى أعمال فنية بعد نجاحها، تمَّ مؤخرًا تحويل مسلسل "كلبش" إلى رواية تتحدَّث عن مجموعة من الوقائع التي عاشها المصريون قبل أربعة أعوام عن طريق بداية مشوّقة تتمثَّل باقتحام خلية إرهابية لإحدى الحارات الشعبية وقتل أهلها ! تبدأ الأحداث بعد ذلك بالتفرّع في دوائر صغيرة وأخرى كبيرة إلّا أنّها جميعها تصبَّ داخل المجتمع المصري وما يعانيه أفراده من ضغوطات. بطل الرواية هنا هو الضابط "سليم الأنصاري" والذي سبق له أن قام بقتل أحد الإرهابيين مع مطلع الأحداث بالإضافة إلى شروعه في قتل آخر، ومع أنَّ العنف يغلب على تصرفاته إلاّ أن "الكلبش" الحقيقي الذي سيقيد مصير حياته سيكون عقب مقتل شاب داخل قسم الشرطة على يد اثنين من أمناء الشرطة ثم يتم تلفيق التهمة له هو، وهنا يتصاعد الخط الدرامي ويتم ربطه بالعديد من الأحداث المجتمعية التي يتشابك فيها رجال أعمال وقيادات إعلامية وشرطية أيضا. ليبدأ الضابط الأنصاري رحلته في البحث عن أدلة براءته ويظل يواصل الهروب والانتقال من مكان إلى آخر ليكشف لنا خلال هذه الرحلة عن مفاجآت لم تكن
