إن الوعظ الأمريكي للصين لمراعاة حقوق الانسان ومنح تقرير المصير لشعب التبت، يدق رنينا أجوف في مساحات شاسعة من الرأي العام العالمي بعد أبي غريب والغزو والاحتلال الوقائي للعراق. إن أمريكا، مثل الآخرين، عليها ان تتنافس في فضاء القوة هذا لكسب القلوب والعقول ، ولم يعد في استطاعتها الافتراض بأن الكثير من العالم على استعداد للاقتناع بخطابها.
