"أي بشرى! قلمي لاغى، وناغى، وتكلم..، بعدما استسلم لليأس وأغفى وتأزم، خلته مات، ولكن كان في صمت ملثم، ثم وافى بعد عامين بشجوي يترنم. أي بشرى، عادت الآمال في أفق حياتي، وانتشت روحي وغنى قلبي بعد سبات، هاأنا أمطره اليوم أحر القبلات، قلم الشاعر لا يعرف معنى للممات. قلمي بلسم همي وضمّاد لأنيني يبعث النشوة والآمال في قلبي الحزين، كلماتي نفثات من حنان وحنين.. هناك شعري، وسأتلوه لروح ابني الحبيب، ولأهلي ولأحبابي وللحق السليب، سوف أرويه بدمعي الثاكل الترّ الصيب، وأنا في غربتي، أوّاه من عيش الغريب.. يبقى للإنسان كوة يتنفس من خلالها الأمل والأحزان تحاصره من كل مكان. وتبقى كلماته أناشيد يترنم على وقعها مهدهداُ الأحزان لتنام في حضن النسيان".
تلك هي كلمات سعاد الصباح وهي ترسل أناشيدها مفعمة بموسيقى حزينة إلى ولدها الراحل.
