هذا من الكتب العظيمة في الرد على النصارى، كانت الحاجة كبيرة إليه في بلد المؤلف الهند إذ وجود الإنكليز المحتلين مهد للقسيسين فتنة المسلمين عن دينهم. وقد ناظر المؤلف أحدهم، فأمره شيخه أحمد زيني دحلان أن ينقل مناظرته وغيرها إلى العربية. فكتب كتابه هذا في مقدمة وستة أبواب: 1-العهد العتيق والجديد، 2-في إثبات التحريف، 3-في إثبات النسخ، 4-في إبطال التثليث، 5-في إثبات كون القرآن كلام الله ومعجزا، 6-في إثبات نبوة سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم.
