Book Description
يبحث الكتاب بشكل موسع، في تاريخ ونسب وأخبار قبيلة عائذ، وهي القبيلة العريقة التي بسطت "نفوذها ذات زمن في قلب نجد".
والكاتب، وهو أحد أبناء هذه القبيلة، آلمه تجاهل النسابين لها، و"شح المعلومات" المتعلقة بها، وكذلك "قلة الكتب التي تناولتها". لذا قام في بحثه هذا، بجمع ومناقشة جميع ما ورد عنها من أخبار وأقاويل داخل الوطن، وما حصل عليه من كتب ومخطوطات خارجه، مما شكل مادة جيدة لانتاج هذا الكتاب.
يقسّم الكاتب بحثه إلى خمسة أقسام. فيبدأ أولا، بالرجوع إلى أصل تسمية القبيلة"عائذ" في اللغة، وتعدد معانيها ومفرداتها، ويعود إلى أصولها التاريخية، فيعرض بالتفصيل كل ما جاء من اقاويال على لسان النسابين المتقدمين الذين يعودون بأصول قبيلة عائذ إلى" تسع قبائل مختلفة معظمها من الأرومة القحطانية"، ويؤكد أن المتأخرين من المؤرخين والنسابين،" قد اتفقوا جميعا على أن عائذا من ربيعة!"
يبحث الكاتب في الأسباب التي دعت العائذيين للانتقال من اليمن إلى نجد، ويجهد للإجابة عن ذلك، بالتقاط كل الإشارات التي وردت في كتب جميع المؤرخين والنسابين.
القسم الأكبر من الكتاب يوليه الكاتب "لصولات وجولات" وأخبار عائذ في نجد، وأقدمها عام 851هـ ، حسب ما ذكره المؤرخ "ابن بسام" أي في خلال الحقبة السياسية المضطربة والتي سادتها "الحروب والمنازعات المتلاحقة"، ولم تخلو من "الكوارث المناخية والأمراض الفتاكة الشاملة".
في قسمه الرابع، يولي الكاتب اهتمامه من جهة، لذكر الأسر العائذية المتحضرة في نجد، وهي أسر آل مزيد، وأسر آل يزيد، كذلك "بطون وعشائر عائذ في الجنوب".
أما في قسمه الأخير فأنه يقدم "تراجم لبعض مشاهير علماء عائذ " وشيوخها. يعكس الكتاب مجهود كاتبه، فهو جدير بالاهتمام، لجدّيته وشمولية بحثه وموضوعيته.
خلاصة لما تناثر ذكره في بطون كتب التاريخ والنسب عن قبيلة عائذ، منذ العصر الجاهلية وحتى سقوط آخر شخصياتها البارزة في منتصف القرن الثالث عشر الهجري.
وقد تتبع الباحث مراحل انتقال هذه القبيلة من جنوب الجزيرة العربية إلى أن استقرت في قلب نجد، راصداً أبرز مواجهاتها مع الإمارات والقوى التي تعاقبت في بسط نفوذها على نجد حاضرة وبادية منذ القرن الخامس.
ونحن حينما ننشر هذا الكتاب فإننا نؤمن بافتقار المكتبة العربية إليه، وشح المصادر التي تناولت موضوعه، آملين أن يكون هذا الكتاب فاتحة لبحوث ودراسات علمية، تواصل البحث في تاريخ نجد عامة.
