هل تغيرت الأمور؟ هل خرجنا من عصر الانحطاط؟ فى مواجهة الانطلاقة الصاعقة والبراقة للعولمة والتحديات الحاسمة لما بعد الحداثة يبدو أن الإصلاح الإسلامى كما كان قد مُورس بنجاحات وإخفاقات متفاوتة منذ أكثر من قرن، أصبح عاجزا عن تقديم حل لأزمة الثقافة الإسلامية. ما ينبغى فعله لإيجاد هذا الحل، ما نحتاج إليه فعلا هو ثورة المعنى... هذه الثورة تتطلب التحول عن الماضى و"اعتناق" فكر جديد. هل تغيرت الأمور؟ هل خرجنا من عصر الانحطاط؟ فى مواجهة الانطلاقة الصاعقة والبراقة للعولمة والتحديات الحاسمة لما بعد الحداثة يبدو أن الإصلاح الإسلامى كما كان قد مُورس بنجاحات وإخفاقات متفاوتة منذ أكثر من قرن، أصبح عاجزا عن تقديم حل لأزمة الثقافة الإسلامية. ما ينبغى فعله لإيجاد هذا الحل، ما نحتاج إليه فعلا هو ثورة المعنى... هذه الثورة تتطلب التحول عن الماضى و"اعتناق" فكر جديد... وإعادة الاعتبار لبحثنا عن العلامات والإشارات (أو الآيات كما يقول القرآن). هذه العلامات والآيات تتجه نحو المعنى الأساسى للوحى والمشروع الإلهى الذى يكمن داخله ضمنيا. فالهدف بالنسبة للإنسان هو أن يعود إلى أصله عن طريق دفعه لأن يدرك دائما بشكل أفضل معنى خلق الكون وخلقه هو أيضا. والآن نطرح هذا السؤال: كشئ مضاد للأصولية الحرفية الشكلانية المسيطرة حاليا هل نستطيع أن نتحدث عن أصولية روحانية أو بالأحرى نزعة تأسيسية روحانية مضادة؟
