تتناول هذه الرواية أعقد مشكلة في الواقع بكل جوانبه النفسية والاجتماعية والسياسية والاقتصادية وغيرها.. وهي مشكلة الصراع الذي تنفخ فيه جميع شياطين الإنس والجن، ليعيش الإنسان محجوبا عن ربه، وعن عوالم الجمال التي خلقها له
ربه. وهي - كما تصف الواقع بمرارته وآلامه - تحاول أن تضع بين يدي القارئ أنوار السلام الجميل التي أنقذ الله بها عباده عبر رسله الكرام، وأولياءه العظام. فهي تصف تتناول هذه الرواية أعقد مشكلة في الواقع بكل جوانبه النفسية والاجتماعية والسياسية والاقتصادية وغيرها.. وهي مشكلة الصراع الذي تنفخ فيه جميع شياطين الإنس والجن، ليعيش الإنسان محجوبا عن ربه، وعن عوالم الجمال التي خلقها له
ربه. وهي - كما تصف الواقع بمرارته وآلامه - تحاول أن تضع بين يدي القارئ أنوار السلام الجميل التي أنقذ الله بها عباده عبر رسله الكرام، وأولياءه العظام. فهي تصف – بحيادية تامة- واقع الصراع بآلامه وهمومه وأحزانه.. كما تصف واقع السلام بكل آماله وأفراحه وسعادته. والسلام الذي تصفه هذه الرواية هو المنطلق من الدين الإلهي الحقيقي لا الدين البشري المزيف الذي تفننت الشياطين في صناعته، وحاولت أن تخلطه بدين الله..
والرواية من عشرة فصول، ولكل فصل منها قصة مستقلة، يحكيها رجل من الرجال العشرة الذين ألقت عليهم القبض بعض الجماعات الإرهابية التي تمثل التزييف الذي أوقعه الشيطان في الدين الإلهي، ليصبغ مشروعه المدمر بصبغة الله.
ويمكن تقسيم الصراع والسلام في الرواية إلى قسمين:
القسم الأول: الصراع والسلام الداخليان، وهما اللذان ينطلقان من الأنا وجميع القوى التي تشكلها من العقل والقلب والنفس .. وهي ما يتضمنه الجزء الأول من الرواية.
القسم الثاني: الصراع والسلام الخارجيان، وهما اللذان يشملان جميع علاقات الإنسان الخارجية ابتداء من الأسرة، وانتهاء بالله.. وهي ما يتضمنه الجزء الثاني من الرواية.
