يستند الكتاب في مادته إلى آي الذكر الحكيم وتراث أهل البيت عليهم السلام ، وأقوال العلماء من الأئمة المنتجين الأخيار ، وإلى الحكمة والموعظة الحسنة والأخلاق والفضيلة .
