داستان همشهری از مجلات گروه همشهری است که اول هرماه منتشر میشود. داستان، از آذرماه ۱۳۸۷ به جمع مجلات گروه همشهری پیوسته است. در اردیبهشتماه ۱۳۸۹ داستان همشهری در قالب مجله با رویکردی جدید در فرم و محتوا، با سردبیری نفیسه مرشدزاده و دبیری مینا فرشیدنیک و احسان لطفی کارش را شروع کرد و اولین شمارهی ماهنامه با عنوان «ویژهنامهی داستان» به صورت ضمیمهی مجلهی خردنامه همشهری در تیرماه ۱۳۸۹ تاریخچه
داستان همشهری از مجلات گروه همشهری است که اول هرماه منتشر میشود. داستان، از آذرماه ۱۳۸۷ به جمع مجلات گروه همشهری پیوسته است. در اردیبهشتماه ۱۳۸۹ داستان همشهری در قالب مجله با رویکردی جدید در فرم و محتوا، با سردبیری نفیسه مرشدزاده و دبیری مینا فرشیدنیک و احسان لطفی کارش را شروع کرد و اولین شمارهی ماهنامه با عنوان «ویژهنامهی داستان» به صورت ضمیمهی مجلهی خردنامه همشهری در تیرماه ۱۳۸۹ منتشر شد. پس از انتشار نه شماره، از شمارهی اردیبهشتماه ۱۳۹۰، مجله با دریافت مجوز مستقل با عنوان «داستان» به روی کیوسک آمد و سی شمارهی بعدی آن باعنوان «دوره جدید» شماره خورد. در آذرماه ۱۳۹۲، مینا فرشیدنیک سردبیری ماهنامه را به عهده گرفت. از دیماه ۱۳۹۲، شمارهی مجله با مجموع کردن دو سری ۱ تا ۹ (تیرماه ۸۹ تا اردیبهشتماه ۹۰) و ۱ تا ۳۱ جدید (خردادماه ۹۰ تا دیماه ۹۲)، به دلیل تقارن با شب چله از «سیویک دورهی جدید» به «پیاپی چهل» تغییر کرد
