قاصة وروائية سورية مقيمة في باريس/فرنسا ولدت في حلب عام 1966 وحصلت على ليسانس في الحقوق من جامعة حلب.
واعمالها الروائية، هي "اللامتناهي-سيرة الآخر" (عام 1995) و"جدران الخيبة أعلى" (2002) و"تراتيل العدم" (2009) و"حبل سري" (2010) و"بنات البراري" (2011) و"طبول الحب" (2012) و"الراويات" و"نفق الوجود" (2014) و" مترو حلب" (2016).
فازت مها حسن بجائزة هيلمان/هامت الأميركية عام 2005، كما أنها وصلت إلى القائمة الطويلة لجائزة بوكر العربية مرتين (2011) و(2015) من خلال روايتيها "حبل سري" و"الراويات".

وُلد "أدهم" مرّاتٍ متعدّدة، يصعب حصرها. وفي كلّ ولادةٍ له يحمل شخصيةً مختلفة وحياةً أخرى، لدرجة يمكن وصفه معها بأنه صيَغٌ متعدّدة لكائنٍ بشريٍّ واحد، أو باستعارة ما يقوله هو عن نفسه: "أنا كلّ الصياغات. النهايات المفتوحة والبدايات المغلقة. أنا منتهى الصيغ، أنا الجميع، النساء والرجال، جزءٌ مذكّر في شخصية مؤنّثة، وجزءٌ مؤنّث في شخصية مذكّرة. أنا هو مشتهي الخلود. أنا الخلود".
