انطلاقًا من تفعيل دور المركز الرائد في صناعة الوعي، وبيان الوجهة الصحيحة لواقع الثقافة الحقوقية في قضايا المرأة، والذي ينطوي المسار التشريعي فيه على أصول نظامية قائمة في أساسها الأول على الشريعة الإسلامية، وكونه قد بات لزامًا على مؤسسات المجتمع الخاصة أن تتعاون مع المؤسسات الحكومية في بيان الحق، وإقامة العدالة الاجتماعية، والحقوقية للمرأة المسلمة، فإن مركز باحثات لدراسات ا انطلاقًا من تفعيل دور المركز الرائد في صناعة الوعي، وبيان الوجهة الصحيحة لواقع الثقافة الحقوقية في قضايا المرأة، والذي ينطوي المسار التشريعي فيه على أصول نظامية قائمة في أساسها الأول على الشريعة الإسلامية، وكونه قد بات لزامًا على مؤسسات المجتمع الخاصة أن تتعاون مع المؤسسات الحكومية في بيان الحق، وإقامة العدالة الاجتماعية، والحقوقية للمرأة المسلمة، فإن مركز باحثات لدراسات المرأة، أقام بحمد الله الملتقى الثاني للمرأة السعودية مالها وما عليها، بعنوان: ‘‘المرأة العاملة.. حقوق وواجبات’’ يومي الأربعاء والخميس 4، 5 من شهر جمادى الأولى لعام1435هـ.
وهو ملتقى مجتمعي، يُلقى فيه الضوء على حقوق المرأة العاملة في الشريعة الإسلامية، وتطبيقات ذلك في الأنظمة الخاصة بالمرأة العاملة في المملكة العربية السعودية، ومقارنة ذلك بواقعها المعاش، واقتراح حلول شرعية، عملية، نظامية؛ لحصولها على حقوقها، وفق آليات سهلة ميسرة، قابلة للتطبيق على أرض الواقع.
"فكان هذا الكتاب نتاج أوراق العمل التي قدمها ثلة من الباحثين لإلقاء الضوء على بعض المفاهيم
الفكرية، والقانونية المتعلقة بالمرأة العاملة، وقراءة في اللوائح والأنظمة التشريعية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وبيان لبعض الحقوق المتعلقة بالمرأة العاملة، والمتقاعدة، والعمل عن بعد، ودور الإعلام الاجتماعي في تسهيل عمل المرأة من المنزل، وغيرها مما ستجدونها في ثنايا الكتاب ".
قام بإعداد الكتاب أوقاف مركز باحثات لدراسات المرأة، عرض في ثناياه 16 ورقة عمل قدمت في المؤتمر المعني عام 1435هـ.
