تتعدد أبعاد شخصية الدكتور راشد المبارك، فهو مفكر وأستاذ جامعي متخصص في الكيمياء، وشاعر، ومثقف تنويري، وعميد ندوة ثقافية عمرها تجاوز ربع قرن، لذلك كان هذا الإصدار الذي قام بإعداده وتحريره الدكتور عبد الله القفاري، والذي يقع في 258 صفحة من القطع الكبير، وقد استهل بتقديم للشيخ جميل الحجيلان، الذي تحدث عن علاقته بالدكتور المبارك، ولقاءاته المتعددة به، وقد خصص الفصل الأول من ال تتعدد أبعاد شخصية الدكتور راشد المبارك، فهو مفكر وأستاذ جامعي متخصص في الكيمياء، وشاعر، ومثقف تنويري، وعميد ندوة ثقافية عمرها تجاوز ربع قرن، لذلك كان هذا الإصدار الذي قام بإعداده وتحريره الدكتور عبد الله القفاري، والذي يقع في 258 صفحة من القطع الكبير، وقد استهل بتقديم للشيخ جميل الحجيلان، الذي تحدث عن علاقته بالدكتور المبارك، ولقاءاته المتعددة به، وقد خصص الفصل الأول من الكتاب بالحديث عن فكر وأدب وجهود المبارك الثقافية، من خلال عدة آراء أشار لها الدكتور خالد السعدون، والأستاذ إبراهيم البليهي، والدكتور مرزوق بن تنباك، والدكتور أحمد الأميري، والدكتور عبد العزيز الواصل، والدكتور يحيى أبو الخير، والدكتور إبراهيم الشريفي، إضافة إلى الدكتور عبد الله القفاري.
أما الفصل الثاني من الكتاب فقد جمع اللقاءات الصحفية التي تناولت راشد في مناسبات شتى، تلاه الفصل الثالث من الكتاب بعنوان: بين قضايا الأمة وهموم المجتمع، وذلك من خلال المقالات التي كتبها المبارك في مناحٍ إنسانية واجتماعية مختلفة من واقع الحياة اليومية، أما رسائل الأصدقاء.. ورثاء الأعزاء فقد جاءت في فصل رابع، ليعقبها د. القفاري بمقتطفات من السيرة الذاتية لراشد المبارك، الذي جاء هذا الإصدار من قبيل الوفاء له، وتكريما لهذه الشخصية الثقافية كان لها إسهامها في دعم الشأن الثقافي، عبر أبعاد فكرية وثقافية واجتماعية، وقد ذيل الكتاب بقصيدة نشرت على الغلاف الأخير للشاعر الكبير سليمان العيسى بعنوان ندوة الأحد، الكتاب يضاف للمكتبة السعودية ليضاف إلى الكتب التي تتحدث عن رجالات الدولة التي قدمت الكثير وما زالت علامة بارزة في المشهد الثقافي العربي.
