Una barca sin pescador enfrentará dos mundos: el complicado de las finanzas, hecho de cálculo y artificio, y el mundo sencillo de los pescadores, donde el hombre se realiza en su trabajo directo, en contacto con la naturaleza, que, aunque a veces agrede, es el único ambiente posible para el ser humano, al que salva el amor. El teatro de Casona trata de crear en el espectad Una barca sin pescador enfrentará dos mundos: el complicado de las finanzas, hecho de cálculo y artificio, y el mundo sencillo de los pescadores, donde el hombre se realiza en su trabajo directo, en contacto con la naturaleza, que, aunque a veces agrede, es el único ambiente posible para el ser humano, al que salva el amor. El teatro de Casona trata de crear en el espectador un revulsivo ético basado en la moral occidental y en los mandamientos cristianos laicizados: sus obras pueden considerarse autos, no sacramentales, cargados de enfrentamientos entre virtudes y pecados capitales, dentro de la más depurada concepción evangelizadora. De ahí esa sensación que el lector o espectador posee, a veces, de hallarse en una clase de teología sin theos, en una clase de antropología filosofal a pequeña escala. La barca sin pescador es un buen ejemplo de crítica de aquellos que siempre están dispuestos a saltarse las normas morales para conseguir sus objetivos.
