في ( البيرية المسلحة ) يعود المؤلف الى البدايات، الى بدايات الحركة وقائدها، ويعرض بأسهاب وتفصيل، مستعيناً بما تيسر له من المصادر واللقاءات، أحداث الحركة في معسكر الرشيد، وما سبقها من خطط وأعداد، وما تلاها من فشل وقمع متوحش؛ في بحثٍ لم يسبقه أحد في تناول موضوعه ولم يليه من أسهب في عرض تفاصيله.
