في ربيع الحياة هي القصة الثانية من ثلاثية قمر، لمؤلفها الأستاذ الدكتور المهندس/ محمد أحمد قمر، بدأ في كتابتها في نهاية المرحلة الثانوية عام 1942 ثم تقدم بها إلى مسابقة القصة المصرية الطويلة، التي أعلن عنها مجمع اللغة العربية في القاهرة، و رصدت لها السيدة الجليلة هدى هانم شعراوي جائزتين ماليتين، نال هو إحداها عام 1945. ثم تُشرت الرواية بتقديم من الأديب الكبير الأستاذ/ عباس في ربيع الحياة هي القصة الثانية من ثلاثية قمر، لمؤلفها الأستاذ الدكتور المهندس/ محمد أحمد قمر، بدأ في كتابتها في نهاية المرحلة الثانوية عام 1942 ثم تقدم بها إلى مسابقة القصة المصرية الطويلة، التي أعلن عنها مجمع اللغة العربية في القاهرة، و رصدت لها السيدة الجليلة هدى هانم شعراوي جائزتين ماليتين، نال هو إحداها عام 1945. ثم تُشرت الرواية بتقديم من الأديب الكبير الأستاذ/ عباس محمود العقاد، الذى كان عضوا بالمجمع اللغوي، و أحد المحكمين في المسابقة، فأعجب بها كثيرا.
و هو من مواليد الإسكندرية عام 1924. أنها دراسته الإبتدائية و الثانوية ثم ألتحق بكلية الهندسة جامعة الإسكندرية عام 1943، تحرج مهندسا عام 1948 بتقدير الإمتياز مع مرتبة الشرف الأولي.
نال درجة الدكتوراه في الهندسة الكهربية من ألمانيا الغربية عام 1955. و عمل أستاذاً للهندسة الكهربية في جامعة الإسكندية و جامعة بيروت العربية.
