ويحتوي هذا الجزء على ترجمة الفصول التي تناولت الميادين التطبيقية في علم النفس, وهي علم النفس الإكلينيكي, وعلم النفس المهني في إعداد العامل لعمله, وعلم النفس المهني في المحافظة على الأهلية للعمل, وسيك هذا الكتاب هو الجزء الثاني للترجمة العربية لكتاب "ميادين علم النفس" الذي اشترك في تأليفه نخبة ممتازة من كبار أساتذة الجامعات الأمريكية تحت إشراف العالم السيكولوجي جوي جيلفورد.

قام بترجمة هذا الجزء الدكاترة : أحمد زكي صالح, رياض عسكر, محمد خيري, صبري جرجس, عثمان نجاتي, ومختار حمزة, كل حسب تخصصه. وقام بمراجعة الترجمة وتقديم الكتاب والإشراف على طبعه الدكتور يوسف مراد أستاذ علم النفس بجامعة القاهرة
