يتناول المؤلف "الزنداني" من خلال هذا المصنف موضوعاً هاماً وهو "توحيد الخالق" وقد راعى فيه أن يكون متمشياً مع أحوال الزمن المعاصر. وبعبارة أخرى تناوله بالاستناد إلى حقائق علمية لم يكن الإنسان قد عرفها من قبل في ميدان العلوم الكونية. وعلى ضوء دراسته عمد المؤلف إلى ضرب الأمثلة، واستخدام وسائل الإيضاح المختلفة، مع بساطة في التعبير، ووضوح الفكرة، وسهولة البرهان، وهذه أمور هامة جداً، لتثبيت العقيدة في قلوب الناس.
أما المواضيع التي بثها المؤلف بين دفتي هذا الكتاب الثلاثي الأجزاء فقد جاءت على النحو التالي: الكتاب الأول: تحدث فيه المؤلف عن نور الإيمان وظلمة الكفر، وجود الله، حقيقة الإيمان وثمرته، الحاجة إلى الرسل وبيناتهم، الإيمان بالغيب... والمادية، الموت علاماته وملائكته. أما الكتاب الثاني: فقد دارت مواضيعه حول علم التوحيد والأدوار التي مر بها، العلم الحق، من آيات الله في المادة، قدَّر فهدى... من بينات ومعجزات محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، اشتراط الساعة وعلاماتها، وأدلة الإيمان باليوم الآخر. أما موضوع الكتاب الثالث فقد جاءت كما يلي: الدين أهميته، حياة الله، صفات الله، الإسلام والإيمان، والإحسان، القرآن يسبق العلوم الحديثة، ظنون دارون وأسباب انتشارها، دعاء الله وآدابه، الآيات المتشابهة من القرآن.
