إذا أردت أن تعرف قيمة الكنز الأدبى الخالد الذى توافيك به ( مطبوعات كتـابى ) اليـوم ، فإليك ما كتبه عنه المفكر المطلع الأستاذ ( سلامة موسى ) فى عدد 19 نوفمبر عام 1955م من جريدة ( أخبار اليوم ) ، إذ قال :
والواقع أن هذه ( الاعترافات ) التى تقدم ( مطبوعات كتـابى ) إليك اليوم أول ترجمة أمينة كاملة لها باللغة العربية ، وهى أدق وأصدق مصدر لسيرة المفكر العبقرى ( چان عزيزى القـارئ :

والواقع أن هذه ( الاعترافات ) التى تقدم ( مطبوعات كتـابى ) إليك اليوم أول ترجمة أمينة كاملة لها باللغة العربية ، وهى أدق وأصدق مصدر لسيرة المفكر العبقرى ( چان چاك روسو ) ولقد كان من أهم الميزات التى كتبت الخلود لهذه الاعترافات ، أنها كانت أول عمل أدبى يكشف صاحبه فيه عن نفسه ، فقد سجل ( روسو ) فى هذا الكتاب أدق أحداث حياته ـ خيرها وشرها ، طيبها وخبيثها ـ دون أن يجفل عن مواجهة الحقيقة !
