تاب " الأذكار " من أعظم الكتب التى جمع فيها الإمام النووى كل ما يحتاج إليه المسلم في يومه وليله من الإتصال بخالقه عن طريق الأذكار والدعوات والآداب الإسلامية التى لا غنى عنها : من أذكار الصلاة والصيام والحج وآداب تلاوة القرآن ، والطعام والشراب ، والأمر بالمعروف والنهى عن المنكر وغير ذلك من الآداب التى ذكرها الإمام النووى رحمه الله ، وقد استشهد المؤلف فى هذا الكتاب " الأذكار " بالكثير من الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة وأضاف إلى الكتاب بعض دقائق التصوف الصافى ، وعلم الحديث ، والفقه وغيره وذكر ذلك كله واضحاً بأسلوب يسهل فهمه على العامة والخاصة ، وكتاب " الاذكار " كتاب لا يستغنى عنه المسلم سواء كان عالماً أو متعلماً ، ولذلك عكف عليه العلماء بالشرح والاختصار والتهذيب ، واهتمام العلماء بكتاب الأذكار بالشرح والإختصار والتهذيب يدل على منزلة هذا الكتاب العظيم الذى بين فيه مؤلفه كا ما يحتاج إليه المسلم فى حياته.
