الفتاة التي جاءت تزور صديقتها لم تشرب القهوة معها بل شربتها في سجن (أبو غريب) بعد غيبوبة طويلة استيقظت منها لتجد أنها تعرضت للاغتصاب. جاء طبيب السجن وبارك لها بالحمل من جندي أمريكي.. راحت تضرب رأسها بالجدار حتى سقطت على الأرض محاولة الإجهاض. نزفت حتى غابت عن الوعي.. راحت الجدران تبكي عليها بينما بغداد لا تعرف أين ابنتها مهى.
حين وصل الخبر إلى الشيخ عطا والدها قرر أن يذبحها. حاول ابنه أن يثنيه عن قراره لأن العراق كله مغتصب. راح الأب يبكي وينوح على ابنته الوحيدة ولكن لابد من الذبح هذا هو قراره الأخير. العشيرة تحضر لإقامة العزاء.. لكن أخ مهى وصديقه يهربانها من سكين القبيلة. ومن بيت الصديقة مرة أخرى تنطلق رحلة عذاب جديدة بالهروب إلى دمشق لتسكن أشهر الأحياء التي تضم المهاجرين العراقيين. حيث سيكون لمهى قصة جديدة تبدأ من حي جرمانا وتنتهي في بغداد مرة أخرى.
