الكتاب من ترجمة كمال فوزي الشرابي. هذه الملحمة ليست لهذا العصر فحسب، كما قد يتبادر للذهن لأول وهلة، بل هي معاصرة على الدوام، هي للحاضر، وهي للمستقبل، إنها لا تعنى بالجزئيات والعرضيات، إنما تغوص في جوهر الأمور، بالارتباط مع الذات الإنسانية، التي هي على الدوام مستهدية بأنوار الوحي الإلهي. وأكثر من مرة ورد في أناشيدها أنها الخادم الأمين للقرآن الكريم. وهنا لا بد من الإشارة إلى أن هذه الملحمة تتبع منهجاً خاصاً في طرح المواضيع متأثرة خطى القرآن الكريم. فهي تتناول موضوعاً ما، أو علماً من الأعلام، من زاوية ما، في نشيد معين، لتعود إليه في أناشيد أخرى من زوايا مغايرة، فلا تتكامل الصورة إلا بالربط بين الزوايا المندرجة في ثنايا الأناشيد. فعلى القارئ، ولا سيما الباحث، الرجوع إلى فهرس كل من الأعلام والمفاهيم لهذه الغاية.
