Book Description
طبع ديوان الشاعر الأموي عبيد الله بن قيس الرّقيات لأوّل مرّة في فينّة سنة 1902، وقد قام بتحقيق المستشرق رودكناكس على النسختين، وقد كانت طبعة جيّدة التحقيق متقنة الصنّع، قدّم لها بدراسة طويلة عن حياة الشاعر وعن شعره، وترجم في حواشيها شعره إلى الألمانية.
ولأهمية هذا الديوان في الأدب العربي، عمل الدكتور "محمد نجم" على تحقيقها وشرح ما غمض من ألفاظها ومعانيها، وأوضح ما أبهم من مناسبات قصائدها معتمداً على أربعة مخطوطات كما أوصل الأبيات على ما انتثر من شعر الشاعر في مصادر اللغة والأدب والتاريخ.
ومصنف هذا الديوان هو "عبيد الله بن قيش بن شريح بن مالك" شاعر قريشي في العصر الآسوي، من بني عامر بن لؤي، سمي ابن قيس المرقيات لأنه كان يعتزل بثلاث نساء اسم كل واحدة منهم رقية، توفي سنة 75هــ.
