طعم الذكريات هي مجموعة قصصية صدرت لي عن دار الطلائع، وما دفعني لكتابتها أنني شعرت أن لكل منا ذكرياته التي تعايشه ويعايشها، وهو عندما يتذكرها لا يشعر بها كمجرد صور تتوالى على ذاكرته أو تمر أمام بصره، وإنما يشعر بطعمها وحلاوتها أو مرارتها، ولكننا دائما نحنّ للماضي البعيد بذكرياته وما فيه من أحداث ربما لا تكون أكثر حلاوة مما نعيشه، لكننا اعتدنا أن ننعى الحاضر ونلجأ للحماية منه بالماضي ربما ليقيننا الدفين أنه لن يعود، وهي ذكرياتنا عموما. ربما تذكرك ساعة جدك القديمة بكل شيء افتقدته وكل ما حولنا من فوضى وعدم انضباط مع دقاتها المنتظمة رغم مرور السنوات.
