"السابحون ضد التيار" كتاب قسم الباحث مادته إلى أربعة فصول، عنون أولها: بالحكومة الإسلامية وضمنه الموضوعات التي تعني بقضية أن الإسلام دين ودولة، وفيه رد برد عقلي على دعاة فصل الدين عن الدولة ورد الشبهة عن الحكومة الإسلامية بأنها ليست حكومة دينية بالمفهوم الكنسي. أما في الفصل الثاني "العلمانيون... إلى أين" فتحدث إلى العلمانيين حيث رد على طروحاتهم المنافية لتعاليم الإسلام.
وقدم في الفصل الثالث والذي هو بعنوان "الغرب والإسلام" وجهة نظر الغرب في الإسلام وكشف عن عداد الساسة الغربيين للإسلام ولأمة الإسلام. أما الفصل الرابع والأخير والذي عنونه بـ"الوعي الغائب" فناقش قضايا التربية والتعليم، وغياب الوعي عند فئة من المسلمين، وما يؤدي إليه من ضبابية الرؤية والتخبط في السير في الحياة على غير هدى.
